About MJ Hodgson
Michael (Mike) Hodgson has lived in the Ilkley area all his life and is a well-known local character who has been sweeping chimneys since 1989.
Training
Mike was trained by the previous local chimney sweep and took over the business in 1989, becoming the longest serving chimney sweep in the area.
Mike has successfully completed the HETAS Online Sweeping Module (H0095). However there is no substitute for the experience gained by sweeping approximately 60,000 chimneys (and counting) over the last 4 decades.
Due to excellent service and customer satisfaction his business has continued to expand through the years, building a reputation for a prompt and clean service that you can completely trust.
